What Will Life Be Like When Jesus Returns?
Here is one of my favorite videos and songs - I Can Only Imagine. There are times when my heart just longs to totally be in the presence of the Lord, unhindered by the limitations and sins that infect our environment.
There are many instances recorded in the Bible where people, either alone or in groups, were caught up in the presence of God. It seemed all of the worries, concerns and fears of this life did not matter because they were literally caught up into eternity.
Such scenes as:
Moses at the burning bush…
Isaiah who saw the LORD high and lifted up…
Peter, James and John on the mount of Transfiguration…
John the Apostle on the isle of Patmos in the book of Revelations…
And so many more.
Can you imagine what it will be like when all of heaven and earth sees Jesus coming in His glory, when all sin and evil will no longer exist and righteousness becomes the fragrance of the air?
I can only imagine.
I can’t wait! How about you?
